Privacy

This site is run by Ashley Arkels, trading as Empty Bus Records, Miami Beach, Florida. This page explains what happens to information you give me here. It is written plainly rather than legally, and I have tried not to claim anything that isn't true.

What I collect

Your email address, if you choose to join the mailing list. That is the only thing the sign-up form asks for.

What you send me through the contact form — your name, email, the type of enquiry and your message.

I do not collect payment details on this site. The store runs on a separate platform that handles its own checkout and its own privacy terms.

What I do with it

Your email address is used to send occasional updates about new music, shows and merch. Nothing else. I don't sell, rent or trade it, and I don't pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Messages sent through the contact form are used to reply to you.

Who else is involved

This site is hosted by Netlify, which handles form submissions and keeps standard server logs. The mailing list is managed by an email service provider. Music and video players are embedded from Spotify and YouTube, and those companies may set their own cookies when a player loads — which on this site only happens once you click to play a video. The store is operated separately and has its own policy.

Leaving

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also email me and I'll remove you. If you'd like to know what I hold about you, or want it deleted, ask and I'll do it.

Changes

If this page changes meaningfully, the date below changes with it.
